In which I’m heading to Houston!

So I leave tomorrow for Houston and I am BEYOND excited about this trip. First, I’m going home–and make no mistake, chickens, Virginia is lovely but Texas will always be home. It’s barbecue and blue jeans and people calling me “mija”. It’s also Murder by the Book, one of my favorite bookstores in the WORLD. Oh, and did I mention I get to hang with author galpal Susanna Kearsley?? Yep, I totally dropped that name right there, but I’m not ashamed. We’re speaking and signing at MBTB on Saturday, March 1–and I heard a rumor about a tea party at the bookstore with finger sandwiches. Wouldn’t that be FUN? (Last time it was a decadent safari theme with mimosas and pith helmets…)

Our appearance is scheduled for 4:30pm with signing to follow the chat, and here’s the best part: even if you can’t make it, you can still get a personalized book! Just contact MBTB ahead of time and they’ll be happy to take your order for personalization. All the contact info for MBTB is on their website. Hope to see you there!

March 1 is the OFFICIAL release date for CITY OF JASMINE, but I know pre-orders have shipped and it should be on bookstore shelves right this absolute minute, so go forth and get some Gabriel and Evie adventures of your very own–and thanks for reading!
