In which I'm blogging everywhere!
With Dark Road to Darjeeling coming out in a matter of days, I've been very kindly invited to visit various spots in the blogosphere. (And with Dark Road to Darjeeling coming out in a matter of days, I've accepted them all!) Today you can find me discussing Agatha Christie during the month-long Agatha Christie tribute in the Barnes and Noble chat rooms and talking about the power of armchair travel in the writing process at eHarlequin. Drop by and leave a comment or two if you're so inclined.

Mr. Pugglesworth
As a longtime dog breeder and exhibitor(my health ended that several years ago) I was quite curious about the mating between Mr. P and the Italian Greyhound. Considering the ones I have seen at shows which are quite leggy, it amazes me that a dog who has one foot in the grave and is low to the ground could manage to breed her. I would like to imagine that Portia had a hand in this?
Also as a breeder of small dogs(miniature wirehaired dachshunds) I have been plagued with many C-sections. I consider it a miracle that poor Florence could whelp that litter of puppies from a sire whose hear is so large proportionally to her hips. Most of todays Pugs, Bulldogs and like breeds end up having C-sections.
Hooray for blogging! I am so

I am so excited for this book, which is a given, because your writing is fantastic. I'm going to do a blog post on you, and Dark Road, as soon as I read my copy.
