Very fun! Remember the clicky noise of real typing? My last actual typewriter typing test was for a job in 1996. I had already moved to computer keyboards by then and was laughing at my own incompetence. A VP came in to see what was going on because of the giggling. Got the job, probably through his appreciation of my sense of humor. Ironically it was a computer technology company and I never had to type a word on a typewriter anyway.

Isn't it the truth about that touch-typing class? It got me some Kelly Girl gigs while in graduate school, although it also has meant that many, many years later, I'm still typing stuff for DH. But I'm still learning; I've just discovered how to use "track changes" for his latest manuscript. Unfortunately, typing classes are a thing of the past, it seems, which is a shame for our kids who do so much on a keyboard.
