In which I am victimized by a doodle
Yesterday I was brutalized by my doodle. Deacon, who weighs in the vicinity of 80 pounds, headbanged the bridge of my nose. Despite copious amounts of ibuprofen and ice, the bones of my face just hurt. I like to think he's remorseful, but I'm not stupid. The photo is of him when he was about 60 pounds and not quite so clumsy.

He looks remorseful in the picture.
Since it was taken a while ago, he must have been in the plotting stage and not quite committed to his plan. Apparently he got over his qualms.
Deacon
I love him--(you have to excuse me, we just had twins(boy, girl) born to my nephew Monday, a little boy born to his brother last June 22, another boy born to a one of their good friends who they grew up with and lives near the nephew in florida and a girl born to my niece in april and all I seem to do these days is say how much i love all these little beings and I really hope you're all right, first of all---and Deacon is awfully cute--
A friend of mine just got knocked out for 3 hours tripping over his dog when getting up and trying to walk in dim light. His wife is trying to make him go to the doctor, but he won't do it and she's worried--I think this is getting to be another household hazard.
No DARK ROAD TO DARJEELING in Borders or Barnes and Noble yet, but I got a bookmark for free there that says 75th anniversary San Antonio Order books by Nancy deLong BOUQUETS FORM GOD, I'M JUST SAYIN' RIDE THE WIND
Why 75th anniversary--San Antonio has to be older than that ---isn't it?--that would make it 1935---need to look that up
Good Luck bump
Deacon has been watching NFL football, that was just his wish for good luck on the new book.
