In which I am on vacation, sort of

Last week I finished the first draft of the fourth Julia Grey book--YAY!!--and am taking a few days to clear my head and restore myself before I dive into revisions. So today, I offer you something beautiful to ponder. Ashes and Snow, Gregory Colbert's multimedia exhibit, which was kindly sent to me by Reader Elizabeth as she thought it was something I might like. She was entirely correct.

Deanna, I'm so glad to hear you're moving along on your 4th JG novel! I'm in the midst of Silent on the Moor and am really enjoying it! I've been listening to all the books on audiobook and it makes commuting to work such a pleasure! I want to re-read them in print once I'm done listening so that I can savor them and the words in my own voice for your charcters, I'm so into your Julia/Brisbane relationship - I'm eternally hopeful for them! :)

So happy for you, Deanna. What a relief eh? I cannot wait to spend time again with Lady Julia and Brisbane. Enjoy your time off!

I loved all three JG books and am eagerly awaiting book 4. The characters are so real and personable, with endearing and infuriating quirks. I think one of my favorite things is the unfolding dynamics of JG's family. Can't wait to see where you take them next! Thank you for such enjoyable reads!

Ooh! I really can't wait! I recently reread the series, which I highly suggest because I read so furiously through books to see what happens at the end instead of studing the characters, like "why does Brisbane at the way he does?" etc.
(BTW, Ms.Raybourn, When is Julia going to call her partner/husband by his FIRST name? It's something that slightly irks me. He calls her by her first name all the time. Just a thought.)
I can't wait to see where this next book takes place! I wonder if it'll be on their honeymoon, or in China or Eygpt...
When do you expect for the 4th book to come out? You see, I'll be counting down the days. Best wishes with your fine tuning!
